TOP 5 REASONS OPEN PHOTO BOOTHS ARE BETTER
One would assume every photo booth is much like the next, but you would be wrong to assume that. Mention the words “photo booth” to anyone, and you’ll almost inevitably envision that nostalgic, clunky, and unattractive big box you used to climb inside. Maybe it was you and your high school sweetheart visiting your local put put… or perhaps you and your friend(s) at the movie theater pushing the curtains aside before squishing inside. Either way, photo booths have come a long way, they have evolved.
Here is our opinion on why we think an open air photo booth reigns supreme.
Gone are the days of the conventional photo booth. I mean C’mon, nobody likes sitting in a huge box behind a thick curtain
(or maybe you do)
AND with room only for one or two individuals.
Unless you want to perform some yoga poses and pile on top of your friends and loved ones, then why box in the fun? Here is our top five reasons why you’ll definitely want to go with an open booth for your event!
#1 FUN FOR EVERYONE
With an open booth, everyone can get in on the action. Guests are privy to a sneak peak of all the fun everyone is having. This glimpse of all the action draws more guests who weren’t likely to stop by for a photo. Needless to say, other guests from the event are more inclined to visit the booth when they see what all the fuss is about. Besides, while waiting around for their turn, guests in line generate ideas for their own poses as they watch those ahead, or sometimes they just get dragged into the photo too. We have witnessed countless times a picture began with two people, but somehow ended with twenty by the third pose. Just a forewarning, this will give that photo bombing friend of yours access to jump in your photo, and we all know we have one of those.
Young, old, mom, dad, it doesn’t matter. Hop on in.
#2 MORE PEOPLE EQUATES TO MORE FUN
The record number of individuals in our booth stands at a whopping twenty-three people, and yes … they were all grown adults. Squish a fifth of that into your traditional enclosed photo booth, and you’re already fighting claustrophobia along with someone’s elbow in your face. It goes without saying, but the more people in the photo, the more fun everyone seems to be having. This is also a big WHY in encouraging the open photo booth concept. It is the best way for your guests to let loose, strike a pose, and have some fun. You and your guests have the ability to stretch your limbs and interactively engage one another without constraint (to a certain extent of course!)
#3 PROFESSIONAL PHOTO QUALITY
Admit it, everyone loves to take pictures, but not just any kind of pictures. People love to take GREAT photos… dare we say, epic photos? Another benefit to the open air photo booth is the light they can bring and produce. With your “traditional aka conventional” photo booth, one must cut corners in certain places (places we do not have to) to have everything fit into a “box.” We bring in professional, and might we add flattering studio lighting, to produce photos that ooze beauty. Take a step up to our booth and get rid of murky / faded looking photos, ones that are quite unflattering and kind of look like they were taken with a cell phone. Experience the quality and vibrancy our photo booth can capture.
Our aesthetically pleasing and compact setup leaves the way to incredible flexibility and the ultimate in portability. Want a custom set designed? No problem. Does your venue have a cool brick wall? #5 YOU CAN FIT A HORSE… OR A 7FT GREAT DANE
Well, you can’t fit a horse into an enclosed photo booth… but we can certainly fit one in ours. So it turns out we can give you an endless amount of reasons why an open photo booth is better than an enclosed one, but we’ll end it here for now. Perhaps we’ll circle around for a part two to this and make it a series. In the meantime, if you’re looking for more information about the photo booth feel free to head to our contact page or join us on Instagram.
